What you'll do
You will manage international road transports from start to finish. That means taking responsibility for your shipments, making decisions and keeping customers and carriers moving.
- Plan and coordinate international road freight shipments
- Source suitable carriers and negotiate freight rates
- Organise collections and deliveries across Europe
- Manage your transports from order confirmation through to delivery
- Stay in close contact with customers, carriers and drivers
- Monitor deadlines and react quickly when something doesn't go according to plan
- Find practical solutions instead of simply passing problems on
- Keep transport data and relevant documents accurate and up to date
- Build strong relationships with customers and transport partners
- Keep an eye on costs, selling prices and profitability
In short: you make sure the transport works – operationally, commercially and for the customer.
What we're looking for
We don't expect you to tick every box. But we do expect you to take responsibility for what you do.
You should:
- Enjoy working with people and communicating throughout the day
- Be comfortable negotiating and making decisions
- Stay calm when things get busy
- Think commercially, not just operationally
- Take ownership instead of waiting for someone else to solve the problem
- Be able to improvise when the original plan stops working
- Have a strong service mindset without saying yes to everything
- Work independently while still being part of a team
- Speak and write German confidently
- Have a good working knowledge of English
Experience in freight forwarding or road transport is obviously an advantage.
But attitude matters just as much.

Mindestgrundgehalt laut KV: EUR 2.352,50 brutto pro Monat, 14x jährlich. Überzahlung je nach Erfahrung und Qualifikation, zusätzlich Gewinnbeteiligung.
